CircusValley Gazette

I'm the Editor of The CircusValley Gazette and I got a request from the Governor in CircusValley about the possibility for me to write about our valley so visitors knew what to expect when they arrived to this lovely place.

You may have noticed that I'm also the Governor in CircusValley and since dual positions can not be avoided in small communities like ours with limited people able to fill positions, you will meet more than one native from CircusValley with several titles. You have to do what you have  to do - and we did it.

Population: 301 inhabitants.
Location: 2 miles East of the Sun and 6 miles West of the Moon.

CircusValley offer residents and tourists a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities and shopping opportunities. Leprechaun chasing, Beer tossing, Bargain hunter BBQ

Nearly 90 percent of Circusvalley's residents live in the largest City - CircusValley, 9 percent in Holiday City, and the rest live where they want. Rumors say that there still living people in the settlement named Shit Creek established early in the 60's but that's not verified. Visitors will have to take full responsibility if they go there. Due to security reasons our Fire Fighters and Rescue Team do not enter that area at any cost.

The large majority of residents are of Nordic, Irish or German descent, but ethnic diversity has increased in recent decades.

Industry and commerce
Although less than 1% of the population is employed in the agricultural sector, this sector remains a major part of the economy because the valley take pride in buying their products and services from friends and family, 98 percent works at The Mall, and the Shit Creekers ... we honestly don't know what they does for a living. Visit at your own risk. Don't expect to be rescued.

The Mall
Indoor Mall with more than 30 shops functions as community center.

Yesterday I visited ChitChat shirts and the shopkeeper gave me this shirt when I left. I did not ask for anything in return for writing about her shirts. What a sweet lady. I know that you're reading this so I just want to say --> Thank you very much.	Today the Editor and only staff in CircusValley Gazette (me) have tinkered with ads. We all need money, right? Feeding me ain't cheap I tell you. This is how the Ads section works: I visit Zazzle and spend time there doing window shopping. Then I copy the code to the cream of the products and create my own "Zazzle Best" ad page so our readers can view, figure out if they think I picked something they want - and if they buy something the Gazette earn money. You can view a youtube video created by the Zazzle team about how you can do the same at your blog or web site. If you want to help promoting products from the shops in Circus Valley - visit the marketplace and search for circusvalley - I bet you find something you like. Zazzle University
Ain't I Clever? The beauty with internet is that you can reach a lot of people at the same time. Inform them about what's new and keep them updated on what's going on in your shop, your life or in your city. Since 98 percent of the inhabitants in Circus Valley work in The Mall, and all other people except the inhabitants of Shit Creek visits the Mall every day, the internet part was one of the first things we got sorted out. Cheap. Only The Mall got internet and we all must log in once every day to read the CV Gazette and tick a box to verify that we have read it. This way we save much money on postage. Ain't I clever. No Drunk Tweeting Tonight Shirt This is what she said in her product description: "No drunk tweeting please Tweeted while you were out with your friends at the pub? In todays issue of CircusValley Gazette I wanted to find out what's going on in  ChitChatShirts on Zazzle. And I arrived when the shopkeeper was having lunch so I finally could find out what she got in her shop without her following me like a shadow. This is one of the shirts I found before she returned and kicked me out of the shop. Can you imagine someone wanting to wear a shirt like this? - I know this shopkeeper and can not imagine her taking time off from the shop duties to do something that remotely could be called social activities - so my guess is that she has been spying on her husband or children while they were Tweeting. Sleeps well with others She once told me that she made shirts that mirrored the world she saw around her. While snooping around in her shop I found this hoodie at the top shelf. Sleeps well with others? Since this is a family friendly magazine I think it's better that we do not try to figure out where she got the inspiration to create this design from. The Return of the Grumpy Lady - or not
When the shopkeeper came back from her lunch break and discovered me in her shop with my camera and laptop she suddenly got a nasty expression in her face - but I was wrong - she only tried to figure out what gift she could give me for the hard work I put into the promotion of her shop. I guess that I was completely wrong, she's a nice lady after all. This is the shirt she gave me.
