The editor speaking: It’s common knowledge that the Governor in CircusValley got the lowest income and expensive habits. As the Editor of this newsletter is my duty to report that the Governor did indeed accept a gift this afternoon. If this gift can be considered as bribery is still uncertain.
When the matter got revealed I only got this comment “I don’t think it’s fair of a public newspaper to give me such a bad publisity due to one lady reporting a small gift I received. She receives gifts, often more than once every year – so why all this fuzz. I think of this gift as an early Christmas Gift and it can not in any way change my way of doing business, act differently or treat other people different than I do today hense the claim from me that this gift can’t be consideres a bribe. Let people speak up on this matter, and the person accusing me for accepting… get out ouf the pub and report to my office NOW”
